What is Cleopatra and Caesar about?

This series reimagines the affair between Queen Cleopatra of Egypt and Julius Caesar as an AI-generated drama. Cleopatra's seduction leaves her pregnant with Caesar's baby, and as two powers collide, Caesar's wife plots revenge together with Mark Antony. Caesar eventually has to decide whether his loyalty belongs to Rome or to the woman who has gained so much sway over him.

Tagged Fantasy on Candy, it is a costume-drama take on ancient history rather than a history lesson: palace intrigue, politics, jealousy and a romance with an empire's fate attached. It suits viewers who like period settings, power struggles and a high-stakes love triangle. Like every Candy Short, it is told in short vertical episodes made for phones.
