What is Claimed by the Dragon Queen about?

Ethan is a prisoner brought before Queen Veyra, who intends to keep him as her latest conquest and to break his spirit. The plan does not account for him. Slowly, the man she meant to bend starts changing how things work in her bedchamber, in her court and even in her family line.

It is a high-fantasy power-reversal story: royalty, captivity and a slow shift of control. Candy lists no tags for it, so the pitch is in the title and the setup. It suits viewers who like fantasy courts, dominant queens and the satisfaction of watching the balance tip. The tone is that of a palace drama, with a ruler used to getting what she wants and a captive who refuses to behave like one.
