What is Camp Rules about?

You and your wife Diana book what is advertised as a calm, family-friendly spot by the lake. It turns out to be a private campground for couples, and everyone else there already knows the unwritten rules. You are the only one who does not, and the fun is in working out what those rules are and what they mean for the two of you.

The story is told in second person, so you play the newcomer who is always a step behind. It leans on awkwardness, curiosity and couple dynamics rather than on a family taboo, and the social-secret twist keeps the mood teasing rather than heavy. It suits viewers who like a husband-and-wife setup with a world that seems to be in on something, and who enjoy discovering the rules along with the main character.
