What is Boys Not Allowed about?

Camilla is the best friend at Ava's girls' night, and she is also Ava's boyfriend's adult stepsister. With the boyfriend sent off to the bedroom and Ava asleep on the couch during the movie, Camilla decides the rule about boys no longer applies and goes to find him.

Candy tags this one Stepsister and Taboo, and the story uses both: a betrayal that happens in the same house as the person being betrayed, wrapped in a family tie that would be hard to explain. The tone is playful and risky, one night with the clock running. The setting is a single home on a single evening, which keeps the focus on the three people involved. It suits viewers who like the stepsister fantasy with a best-friend twist.
